Hi everyone! I’m so excited to share a little bit of the process of how I chose some of the elements for this anthropologie inspired shoot!
As my last styled shoot in NY working with my favorite upstate vendors, I wanted to do something totally different. I am always really inspired by Anthropologie, especially their amazing store displays. For those of you who don’t know this retailer, you should totally go check out the one in Harvard Square, Boston. It will blow your mind! So one of the key elements that comes to mind when I say “Anthropologie inspired” is up-cycled. They are really good about using things that aren’t intended to be beautiful and turning them into amazing pieces of art. They also have a lot of bold colors and texture, especially floral patterns and plant life. Everything has a sort of bohemian and nature-inspired feel to it, which I love! So THIS is why they were my major inspiration for this shoot.
My absolute favorite colors are green and blue. In this shoot blue was my go to. My good friend Kerri Lynne had her “go to” colors, which was anything peachy or grapefruit. So, I decided to combine the two to create the dream color palette, with the dream team!
